The Mykolaiv Choral Synagogue was opened in 1884 and was the center of spiritual and cultural life for the city’s Jewish community, which at that time made up about 20% of the population. The model recreates the appearance of the main synagogue of Mykolaiv, which was located at the corner of Velyka Morska and Faleevska Streets (now Oleksii Vadaturskyi Street).
