Kiddush cup
A special, traditionally decorated bowl used in Judaism for the ritual of sanctifying the Sabbath or holidays over wine. It is used for reciting blessings (brachot) before drinking wine or grape juice on Sabbath evenings (Fridays) and during festive meals.
