Edge smoothing iron for shoe uppers (components).
Wooden handle with a metal working part shaped like an uneven step with a long protrusion on one side and a cavity on the other.
The iron was heated and dipped in hot wax to smooth and seal the edges of leather shoe components, making them moisture-resistant and aesthetically pleasing.
Donated to the museum by Y. A. Kostenko (Mykolaiv) in 2009. Inventory number: MD-4722
